Bruce Willis is one of the best-known stars of our time. Between his part in the movies, Diehard and the Fifth Element, it seems as if everybody knew who he was.
Unfortunately, the news about Bruce Willis has not been good in recent months. After being diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia, he went downhill quickly. In reality, he may have been having problems for quite some time before that diagnosis came about.
Another part of the news dealing with Bruce is his decision to leave the children he had with Demi Moore only $1 million each. He is estimated to be worth some $250 million, so that has fans talking.
Bruce Willis was accustomed to being in the headlines, long before he was diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia. His marriage and divorce from Demi Moore was big news at the time, and their relationship continues to be interesting news today.
Bruce shares three children with his ex-wife, Demi Moore, and two children with his current wife, Emma Henning Willis. There was something that happened during the pandemic, however, that changed the dynamics of the family for the better.
Like many people, the Willis family was quarantined during the height of the pandemic. Demi Moore was invited to move in with them, and she continues to share a very close relationship with the family.
It’s nice to see a divorced couple who co-parent their children in such a beautiful way. Quarantining yourself in the same home during the pandemic, however, was quite different.
Demi Moore spoke about that time, saying: “I personally feel like I was really grateful for things slowing down and the time that we had. It worked out that Bruce came and spent time with us and then his current wife and their small daughters joined a little bit later when the kids were finished with school.”
She went on to call the experience a blessing.
When Willis first left acting, he was diagnosed with aphasia but was later given the diagnosis of frontotemporal dementia. It has been a challenging time for the entire family.
Even before he left acting, he was already showing signs that something wasn’t quite right. There were times when he was working on a movie and he had to ask why he was there. He had trouble with his lines and they were basically feeding the lines to him at the time.
Something else that has come to light is his will. According to some reports, he is only leaving Rumer, 34, Scout, 31, and Tallulah, 28, $1 million each. That is less than 1% of his net worth.
The majority of his money will be going to his new family but that doesn’t mean he doesn’t care for the children. According to an insider: “Bruce wanted to make sure his young family was taken care of. He believes Rumer, Scout, and Tallulah have gotten the best of what he has to offer financially throughout their lives.
“Bruce also believes Demi, who is worth an estimated $200 million, will always be there for Rumer, Scout, and Tallulah.”
It has certainly been a difficult time for the family. We hope that they are doing well.
